Post-Flight Inspection
After a successful flight, it’s important to conduct a Post-Flight Inspection.
To inspect a drone after landing:
- Make sure the drone has landed and is level.
- Be extra careful to not arm the drone as you perform your post-flight inspection.
- Before approaching the drone, set the controller down and away from the drone.
- Approach, then unplug the battery.
- Now, power-down the controller.
- Inspect the battery, drone components and propellers for any damage.
Congratulations! You’ve finished all of the Configuration Steps, and you’ve taken RubiQ through her first flight. You’re now ready to head to the flight field and log those hours in the sky. As you continue to fly, remember everything you’ve learned through the configuration process, and always be sure you’re following local and federal laws. You have a lot of responsibilities on your shoulders, but as a RubiQ professional, we know you’ve got it in you!
